FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where do you live and work?
A: I started off with a studio in Hamburg, where I spent over a decade developing my artistic voice. My art studio is now based in Cape Town, but I continue to stay connected to Hamburg, where my journey began.

Q: Can I commission a custom artwork?

A: Absolutely! I love creating bespoke pieces that reflect your story, brand, or vision. Just reach out via the contact form, and I’ll guide you through the process.

Q: How long does it take you to create a painting?
A: It usually takes me between 1 to 4 weeks to complete a painting, depending on the size and complexity. I always aim to balance quality with timeliness — every piece is created with intention.

Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes, I offer free shipping worldwide. My artworks have found homes in over 27 countries, and I make sure each one is securely packaged and fully insured for delivery.

Q: Are your artworks originals or prints?
A: All pieces available through my website are original, hand-painted artworks. From time to time, I release limited edition prints — if you’d like to be notified, you can subscribe to my collector’s list.

Q: Why do you only accept payment in USD?
A: My business is registered internationally, and for consistency and clarity across borders, I use USD as the base currency. It’s widely accepted and simplifies international transactions for my collectors.

Q: Do you offer NFTs?
A: No — I currently focus on physical, hand-painted art. I believe in the power of tangible artworks that live and breathe in real spaces.

Q: How long does shipping take?
A: For available works, shipping usually takes 5–10 business days depending on your location. Commissioned pieces take longer, but I’ll always keep you informed along the way.

Q: Are your artworks a good investment?
A: Many of my collectors — from entrepreneurs to art lovers — see my work as both a personal statement and a long-term investment. My art continues to grow in value and is often acquired for private collections around the world.

Q: Can I view your work in person?
A: I don’t have a public gallery, but I do host private viewings and occasional pop-up events. If you’re interested in a particular piece, I’m happy to arrange a virtual tour or viewing.

Q: Do your artworks come with a certificate of authenticity?
A: Yes — every original piece comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.

Q: How should I care for my painting once it arrives?
A: My artworks are sealed with a professional varnish to protect them. Keep your piece out of direct sunlight and away from damp environments. If you ever have questions about framing or care, I’m just a message away.
