Mickey Mouse Series

The Mickey Mouse Series brings together Kristin Kossi’s original Pop Art paintings featuring one of the most recognizable icons of popular culture. Reimagined through Kossi’s distinctive mix of graffiti, street art, acrylic, spray paint and collage, Mickey Mouse becomes a contemporary symbol of optimism, love, ambition and the freedom to enjoy life on your own terms.

Across the series, familiar characters including Mickey and Minnie are placed into unexpected contemporary narratives exploring relationships, success, happiness and modern life. Kossi combines nostalgia and humor with her energetic urban visual language, transforming these cultural icons into bold contemporary Pop Art paintings with stories of their own.
