Scrooge McDuck has been one of the recurring icons in Kristin Kossi's work for more than a decade. Reimagined through bold contemporary Pop Art, graffiti, collage and mixed media, he becomes more than a symbol of money — he represents ambition, success, independence and the contradictions that come with wealth. This collection brings together original Scrooge McDuck paintings and selected editions created by Kristin Kossi, ranging from her iconic money and luxury works to the more recent Sovereign Series, where success evolves into freedom, land and autonomy.

From Wealth to Freedom

Scrooge first appeared in my work as the ultimate symbol of ambition — surrounded by money, champagne and the visual language of success. Over the years, however, the character evolved together with my own understanding of wealth. Today, my Scrooge paintings increasingly explore a different question: what comes after success? In the Sovereign Series, wealth is no longer simply something to accumulate or display. It becomes the ability to own your time, protect your independence and build a life on your own terms.

Each original painting is created individually in my studio using layers of acrylic, spray paint, collage and oil stick. Original works are signed and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Worldwide shipping is available directly from the artist's studio.
