About the Artwork:

Been a While is an abstract expressionist artwork that captures a quiet yet powerful moment of inner shift — the pause before change, the breath before expansion. Created on 250 gsm paper and measuring 59 × 42 cm, the work belongs to an intimate series of affordable, collectible pieces on paper.

Soft, pale tones flow across the surface and collide with bold, contrasting brushstrokes and freely moving paint. The composition feels instinctive and unrestrained — a balance between calm and tension, stillness and momentum. Nothing is forced; everything unfolds naturally.

Layers of texture, color, and movement reflect transformation in its rawest form: the moment when old limits dissolve and something new begins to take shape. Each mark feels alive and intentional, inviting the viewer into a space of openness, freedom, and quiet possibility.

A subtle yet expressive piece — made for collectors who connect with emotion, process, and the beauty of becoming.

My work lives at the intersection of bold pop culture and personal reflection. Through layered textures, iconic characters, and unexpected juxtapositions, I explore the contradictions of modern life — glamour and grit, success and satire, chaos and clarity. Much of my work reimagines familiar faces — from cartoon legends to luxury icons — not to glorify them, but to question them, twist them, and ultimately make them my own. Characters like Mr. Monopoly, Bugs Bunny, or Homer Simpson become vessels to talk about ambition, abundance, and the absurdity of our times. It’s all pop — but it’s also deeply personal.

At the heart of it, I believe in art as transformation. I believe in creativity not just as a medium, but as a way of life — to shift perspective, to provoke thought, and to connect.
