About the Artwork:

What if the richest life isn't about owning more—but about needing less and growing more?

Scrooge McDuck has finally discovered the only investment with guaranteed long-term returns is: growing his own food. Mr. Monopoly traded his Porsche for a tractor—because apparently that's the new status symbol. Bugs Bunny couldn't be prouder of his first harvest of oversized organic carrots. And Garfield? He still complains about Mondays, but these days he's washing down crisp apples with spring water straight from the farm. Somehow, even lasagna tastes better after a day spent lounging on a hay bale.

Don’t Panic, Eat Organic playfully imagines a world where even the biggest icons of wealth, ambition and comfort realize that true prosperity doesn't begin on Wall Street—it begins in healthy soil.

Dominating the composition is the graffiti slogan "Grow Your Own Food"—less a rebellious statement than a timely reminder. In an age of processed convenience, environmental uncertainty and endless consumerism, the artwork celebrates something wonderfully simple: growing what nourishes us.

Beneath the humor lies a deeper message. Fresh organic food. Clean water. Pure air. Good health. These are becoming life's greatest luxuries—not another luxury watch, another sports car or another zero on a bank statement.

Rendered in Kristin Kossi's signature blend of contemporary pop art, satire and layered street-art aesthetics, familiar childhood characters become unlikely ambassadors for sustainability.

My work lives at the intersection of bold pop culture and personal reflection. Through layered textures, iconic characters, and unexpected juxtapositions, I explore the contradictions of modern life — glamour and grit, success and satire, chaos and clarity. Much of my work reimagines familiar faces — from cartoon legends to luxury icons — not to glorify them, but to question them, twist them, and ultimately make them my own. Characters like Mr. Monopoly, Bugs Bunny, or Homer Simpson become vessels to talk about ambition, abundance, and the absurdity of our times. It’s all pop — but it’s also deeply personal.

At the heart of it, I believe in art as transformation. I believe in creativity not just as a medium, but as a way of life — to shift perspective, to provoke thought, and to connect.
