Fashion Shapes Identity explores the powerful dialogue between personal expression and external influence. Fashion is never just clothing — it is a language, a signal, a mirror of who we are and who we are becoming. From the colors we gravitate toward to the brands and spaces we choose, style becomes an extension of identity, shaped by culture, environment, and experience.
This large-scale abstract composition reflects that complexity through layered materials and dynamic contrasts. Fragments of fashion magazine collages are embedded into the surface, partially revealed and partially concealed, echoing the way identity is constructed through borrowed references, aspirations, and personal reinterpretation. Acrylic paint, aerosol, and oil stick interact freely, creating tension between structure and spontaneity, refinement and raw gesture.

Through layered textures, iconic characters, and unexpected juxtapositions, I explore the contradictions of modern life — glamour and grit, success and satire, chaos and clarity. Much of my work reimagines familiar faces — from cartoon legends to luxury icons — not to glorify them, but to question them, twist them, and ultimately make them my own. Characters like Mr. Monopoly, Bugs Bunny, or Homer Simpson become vessels to talk about ambition, abundance, and the absurdity of our times. It’s all pop — but it’s also deeply personal.
At the heart of it, I believe in art as transformation. I believe in creativity not just as a medium, but as a way of life — to shift perspective, to provoke thought, and to connect.
