Why that?

One evening in artist studio, while flipping through a playlist of chaotic inspiration, I glanced at my latest canvas and thought, "What could be more absurd yet perfect than a middle finger?" It’s universal, it’s rebellious, and, honestly, it’s kind of hilarious. But not just any middle finger—a middle finger surrounded by wealth, luxury, and a splash of sarcasm.  I grabbed my paints, letting my instincts take over. The dollar bill became the backdrop, symbolizing the endless chase for money. But that wasn’t enough. No, this needed an "extra". So, I threw in a bright yellow Gucci-inspired background - a cheeky nod to the way luxury brands influence culture.
It wasn’t just a middle finger; it was a statement. A message to anyone who’s ever felt boxed in by society’s obsession with wealth and status. It was also a wink to those who knew how to play the game and not take it too seriously. “This,” I thought, “is both absurd and cool.”

When I stepped back, the painting was unapologetic, bold, and a little sarcastic -just like me.. It was art with attitude, saying everything I didn’t need to put into words: wealth isn’t everything, luxury can be funny, and sometimes, flipping the bird is just the perfect expression.

It was absurd, yes, but that’s why it mattered. Art that made people laugh and think? That’s the sweet spot.

 About the artwork:

"Profit & Protest" features a rebellious middle finger hand against a backdrop of a dollar bill and a vibrant yellow Gucci-inspired pattern, blending luxury with defiance in a way that only pop art can.
The energetic composition challenges conventional ideas of wealth, power, and individuality, making it the perfect conversation starter for contemporary spaces. The yellow Gucci background adds a touch of high-fashion irony, creating a fusion of street art and luxury aesthetics.

My work lives at the intersection of bold pop culture and personal reflection. Through layered textures, iconic characters, and unexpected juxtapositions, I explore the contradictions of modern life — glamour and grit, success and satire, chaos and clarity. Much of my work reimagines familiar faces — from cartoon legends to luxury icons — not to glorify them, but to question them, twist them, and ultimately make them my own. Characters like Mr. Monopoly, Bugs Bunny, or Homer Simpson become vessels to talk about ambition, abundance, and the absurdity of our times. It’s all pop — but it’s also deeply personal.

At the heart of it, I believe in art as transformation. I believe in creativity not just as a medium, but as a way of life — to shift perspective, to provoke thought, and to connect.
