Step into a world of emotional depth and raw expression with Reborn — a powerful large-scale contemporary portrait by Kristin Kossi.

Measuring 150 x 150 cm, this striking oil painting on high quality canvas is a bold exploration of self-awareness and spiritual stillness. Thick, textured layers of oil paint, spontaneous scribbles, and dynamic bursts of spray paint create a compelling visual rhythm across the face of the subject. Every brushstroke and palette knife mark radiates energy, emotion, and movement.

Kristin Kossi’s signature style blends abstract expression with portrait realism, pushing boundaries and allowing intuition to guide the creative process. Faces — beautiful, intense, and deeply human. This artwork captures that intensity through explosive layers of abstract shapes, lines, and texture.

My work lives at the intersection of bold pop culture and personal reflection. Through layered textures, iconic characters, and unexpected juxtapositions, I explore the contradictions of modern life — glamour and grit, success and satire, chaos and clarity. Much of my work reimagines familiar faces — from cartoon legends to luxury icons — not to glorify them, but to question them, twist them, and ultimately make them my own. Characters like Mr. Monopoly, Bugs Bunny, or Homer Simpson become vessels to talk about ambition, abundance, and the absurdity of our times. It’s all pop — but it’s also deeply personal.

At the heart of it, I believe in art as transformation. I believe in creativity not just as a medium, but as a way of life — to shift perspective, to provoke thought, and to connect.
