About the artwork:

The pop art piece shows Bart Simpson in a laid-back, relaxed pose, sitting on a pile of banknotes. In the background, the iconic buildings of Dubai are visible, with their impressive skyscrapers and futuristic structures, along with luxury cars and yachts, capturing the atmosphere of wealth and progress.

Bart wears sunglasses and a smile, reflecting his carefree attitude. Surrounded by banknotes, gold bars, and luxurious glitz, he appears like the king of a modern, emerging metropolis.

"Bart in Dubai" symbolizes the success and prosperity that Dubai represents as a city of the future and innovation. Dubai is known for its spectacular construction projects, economic boom, and ambitious visions. Bart Simpson, a character often noted for his cheekiness and nonchalance, fits perfectly into this picture, embodying the sense of freedom and opportunity that this city exudes.

The artwork is an homage to the dream of living in a city where everything seems possible. It reminds us that in a world full of innovation and progress, the path to success is often paved with determination and a touch of audacity. At the same time, it raises the question of whether material wealth alone is the ultimate goal, or if there are other aspects that enrich life in such a dynamic environment.

"Bart in Dubai" is a vivid and colorful portrayal of a city that constantly reinvents itself, inviting the viewer to reflect on their own goals and dreams.

My work lives at the intersection of bold pop culture and personal reflection. Through layered textures, iconic characters, and unexpected juxtapositions, I explore the contradictions of modern life — glamour and grit, success and satire, chaos and clarity. Much of my work reimagines familiar faces — from cartoon legends to luxury icons — not to glorify them, but to question them, twist them, and ultimately make them my own. Characters like Mr. Monopoly, Bugs Bunny, or Homer Simpson become vessels to talk about ambition, abundance, and the absurdity of our times. It’s all pop — but it’s also deeply personal.

At the heart of it, I believe in art as transformation. I believe in creativity not just as a medium, but as a way of life — to shift perspective, to provoke thought, and to connect.
